Dr. Jai Khullar did his schooling from Springdales School, New Delhi where he was school topper in
Biology in Class XII board examination.
During his medical graduation he secured 1 st Rank in nine of ten semesters, and 1 st Rank in final
examination in his course.
He did his post graduation, Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Family Medicine from BLK Super
Specialty Hospital, New Delhi (now BLK-MAX Hospital).
He has done PG Dip. In Clinical Endocrinology and Diabetes awarded by Royal College of Physicians
(U.K.)
He has done Certificate Course in Management of Thyroid Disorders (CCMTD) from All India Institute of
Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi along with PGCDM and PGCAT from TOTALL Diabetes Hormone
Institute, International Diabetes Federation Centre of Education.
He completed his internship from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi and worked at the then
newly created Swine-Flu Centre.
He did his junior residency from Sushruta Trauma Center (LNJP Hospital), MAMC, New Delhi.
He has worked at Saroj Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi in Medical, Neurology and Cardiac ICUs.
He did his senior residency at BLK Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi (now BLK-MAX Hospital).
As Consultant, Internal Medicine at Sehgal Neo Hospital (SNH), New Delhi, he also worked as In-Charge
of COVID Unit Ward.
He has cleared USMLE Step 1 (U.S.A.) and MRCP Part I and II (U.K.) examinations.
He has various publications to his credit along with numerous presentations, having won 1st Runner-Up
in Case Presentation at Association of Physicians of India (API-DSC) XXVII Annual Conference and 1st
Runner-Up in Case Presentation at East Delhi Physician’s Association Annual Conference.
He has also won the prestigious “Best Worker” award (Indian Medical Association-OWB) at Delhi
Medical Association Foundation Day in 2021.
His primary areas of expertise are management of Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid Disorders, Infectious
diseases, Geriatrics and he has special interest in Rheumatology and Adult vaccination.
He recently participated in a Round Table Discussion on Adult Immunization against Influenza as a
panelist.
